Is there a hope to treat UTI with a single antimicrobial dose, complete relieves of symptoms within 6 hours, and absence of pus cells in urine analysis within 24 hours of management?

Is it right to use diuretics in atherosclerotic patients ?

I do not think so, as it leads to haemoconcentration, then, a big chance to thrombus formation....


Is it right to use expectorants?

I do not think so, as it discharges serum protein outside the body, and do not treat the condition.

The ideal management of productive cough is treating the cause.


Is it right to use antitussives?

I do not think so, as it is a way to hide the cause and allowing the condition progress.

The ideal management of dry cough is treating the cause.


Is it right to give the hypertensive or heart failure patient instructions to restrict salt intake ?

I do not think so, as Na is very important, and KCl can not replace NaCl chemically,

I do not agree with the word restriction but I agree with lowering.
